Everyone knows the feeling: the washing piles up and the washing machine is not working. You can’t afford to mend it let alone replace it. What do you do?

The Barnabas Centre operates a small laundrette comprising a washing machine and tumble dryer. It is, apparently, unique among the Anglican Churches in Manchester Diocese, and was even mentioned in a debate in the House of Lords (on 29 November).

The project

● Bring your washing to the Centre and one of our volunteers will wash and dry it.

● We ask for a realistic donation.

When

Please phone the Centre to arrange a time to drop off your washing and, later, to collect it.

Where

The Barnabas Centre on Arundel Street, Clarksfield. If you’re using satellite navigation, please use the postcode OL4 1NL.
